Top Restaurants in Downtown Frederick
Searching for a good place to eat? Search no further! Come take a stroll down the streets on Downtown Frederick and you will find a restaurant for every taste bud on every budget. Here are some of my favorite places to eat in Downtown Frederick....
Black Hog BBQ, 118 S Market Street: Budget friendly BBQ that is out of this world! They have excellent brisket, wings and ribs but I go for the classic vinegar Caroline minced pork BBQ sandwich!
The Cellar Door, 102 N Market Street: This restaurant is downstairs and hidden away, but the atmosphere is worth it. Get cozy on a pillowed couch with candle light while eating some amazing crab dip. And stay Sunday night for their live comedy show!
Family Meal, 800 N East Street: This well known restaurant by Brian Voltagio is worth the hype! Has a diner feel in a sleek modern atmosphere. The duck fat french fries and dipping sauces are an absolute must, but they are also famous for their fried chicken.
Firestone's, 105 N Market Street: This is one of my top places for a great meal! They have classic steaks and seafood and a hard to beat happy hour!
JoJo's, 16-18 E Patrick Street: Another great place to go for high end steaks and seafood. One of my favorites in the pork belly tacos with mango salsa! Great for a large group event and also another great happy hour spot!
Lazy Fish, 10 E Patrick Street: If you want some great sushi this is your place! probably the best in the Frederick area! They also have great lunch specials if you are stopping in during a work day!
Rex's Downtown Grill, 57 E Patrick Street: I thought this was just a burger joint, but it is way way more! This is the place to go for incredible burgers and a large selection of sandwiches, salads and fresh soups.
The Tasting Room, 101 N Market Street: One of Frederick's favorites for a good reason. This is your spot for a night out of a romantic date. High end American fair and tapas make this restaurant a top best of the best!
The Wine Kitchen, 50 Carroll Creek: Last but not least The Wine Kitchen is the perfect place to relax and enjoy wine tastings and pairings with cheeses and an gourmet menu (Lamb, Duck, Steak) changed regularly.
