Christmastime In Frederick
Dated: December 6 2018
Don't let the rain or cold (or dare I say SNOW!) get in your way this holiday season!
I usually use Facebook to help plan my events, but I also don't hesitate to turn to a few key local websites to help plan my social calendar. Here are my go-to's:
I also never miss a chance to visit the Visitor's center located downtown - which coincidentally is not far from my office for you to stop in and say hello! You can learn more about Frederick, buy some awesome Marlyand and Frederick swag, and also find coupons and vouchers for local businesses to try!
A few bigger events to keep your eyes on this winter:
- First Saturday! Every first Saturday of the month during winter, downtown Frederick offers carriage rides! Great fun for the kiddos!
- Fire and Ice! This is a first Saturday themed event where local businesses go all out with ice sculptures, s'mores, shows, trolley rides and more!
- Jingle Fred Christmas Crawl! This is certainly an adult activity as it is a pub crawl through Frederick! This is the second year Frederick is hosting and it benefits a few local charities!
I may be biased, but I LOVE FREDERICK! With so much to offer year-round, you can't go wrong with any fun things planned around town! And this time of year is simply magical!
Don't hesitate to contact me if you ever have a question about Frederick, restaurants, events - anything!
Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!
