Shop Local COVID19 Edition

The Historic Downtown Frederick is well known for its unique, bustling, and highly instagramable shopping district. This time of year the streets are typically filled with holiday shoppers, bundled up and carting around arms full of packages, boxes, and bags. Our downtown merchants depend on our bustling tourism especially this time of year. Since COVID-19 has struck the world in 2020, these small shops have been doing their best to keep us safe and stay a float. Some have been very successful and some have unfortunately succumbed to the decrease in foot traffic. How can we support our creative and one of a kind shops this year?

Many of our small businesses have a presence online! That’s right. You can get the unique holiday gifts and goodies, plus, support our local shops. What a great way to give back to a community that supports small local businesses. The gift that keeps giving. The Frederick Downtown Partnership has created a list of our local businesses that have online shopping! Check out this one stop shop for your online shopping needs! I myself will be filling my online shopping cart with one of kind gifts from The Muse and Tiara Day! Two shops that hold a special place in my heart.
