TheMuseum of Frederick County History is offering plenty of opportunities to learn more about our amazing town. Each weekend in the month of August provides an array of tours with various focus; so, if you miss one, just catch the next! Architecture, art, and history of different periods are on the menu. All tours are open to all ages (one with an age recommendation, see below). These tours offer more than just an opportunity of learning, they offer a chance to see Frederick in a new light.
Such is the title of the tour on the evening of Saturday, August 11. This is the one tour with a recommendation of 13 years or older. Civil War buff or not, it will certainly be interesting to hear stories of the many events occurring in our town during the period. To catch this tour, please meet at 24 E Church St by 7:00 PM.
There are two opportunities to tour Frederick's architecture styles and local art. With the rich history of our town, 90 minutes will not be enough to go over it all, but the highlights will still offer a wealth of pleasing aesthetics! These tours will meet at 24 E Church St on Saturday, August 11 at 11:00 AM and Sunday, August 26 at 1:30 PM.
